What to Wear Wednesdays: Flower Power

Nothing says spring like flowers or floral print. In the spirit of ushering in more beautiful weather I’ve donned a great floral wiggle dress. The fabric of this dress is a perfect weight and can be worn nearly year round with the right pairings. The dress is past season asos.com. One of the things I love about my wardrobe is that I can get a lot of wear out of the staples because they are so versatile. Additionally, below are a few ways to get more bang for your buck when it comes to styling. 

Fit– Does the garment have a classic shape? You are likely to extend the life of your wardrobe by sticking to pieces that have a timeless feel, think pencil skirts, classic slacks and button ups. The way you accessorize them over the years will give a fresh and renewed quality to staple pieces. 

Fabric– Is the fabric one that is lightweight enough for warmer months but conducive to being paired with articles of clothing for warmer months i.e. tights, boots?

Flair– Is it fun? Does it fit your personality? Bold prints and patterns are an easy way to spice up any look. However, items don’t have to be over the top to have flair. If you love how you look in your clothing it will shine through!!
