Hey Ya’ll I know it’s been a minute since I’ve uploaded any content. Ya girl went on a slight hiatus but I’m back with a TON of videos in the works. I have actually been filming videos but I just didn’t like any of the footage enough to upload it. This is one of many but I was able to salvage a quick snippet of how I did my perm rod set using product from MielleOrganics and the results.
Shortly after the birth of our daughters, some of us mamas become instant beauticians and hair stylists due to the abundance of hair they bring home for us to maintain! When our little girls grow big, thick and curly locks, we often find ourselves needing different products, techniques and regiments to prevent a dry and tangled mess. In addition, it’s always important to promote healthy hair.
Raise your hand if you’ve got a curly kid on your hands!!!
We know that hair care can be rough in general, but there’s no challenge like a tiny head full of curls that need lots of tender love and care. While there are tons more products available to wash, style and maintain natural hair today than there were a decade ago, the world of natural hair care can still be difficult to navigate.

All you will need for this a crochet hook and of course, the hair :). I used the Freetress Box Braid Hair in Medium. The size is pretty crucial in the look that you are trying to achieve. I had to use both Medium and Small (by default). I would definitely go with Medium or larger depending on your style.
Sassy mamas! Fall season makeup is all about warm, earth tone shades with a bold, to semi-bold and deep lip color. Here are my top 5 must-have makeup essentials for a perfect fall look!
The first is the obvious…a great matching foundation. I use IMAN Cosmetics Stick Foundation for my perfect shade, which is Earth 7. Find one that best suits your complexion.
The second is a warm contour/bronzing shade. For this I use a Black Radiance foundation that is 1 to 2 shades darker than my normal skin tone, which in my case is rich mahogany. The finished effect is fabulously radiant!
“This was my weekend style! The only product I used before twisting my hair in 5 sections was avocado oil. After twisting my sections, I twisted each twist into a knot and tied it down with my scarf. The results were amazing! Especially since it only took me about 15 minutes to do. I’m ALL about quick do’s since I’m busy with kids most of the time. So for moms or women with tight schedules who don’t have lots of time to spend on hair, this is a great option! Especially for dry hair.” -The Kinky Girls.
