About

I am an introverted social butterfly that loves to express my creativity through words! I am imperfect, yet dedicated. Silly, yet determined. Sweet, yet sassy. I embrace femininity and strive to juggle everything that comes my way.

As a career woman and mother to three, I am constantly reshuffling and re-balancing to find my sweet spot. Having completed my graduate program while raising a family, I have deep appreciation for multitasking and success, despite barriers and obstacles.

I love my life and all the messy chaos that comes with it. I don’t proclaim to be an expert in anything! But I do show up every day, ready to begin again.

Although I love my three munchkins to the moon and back, my life does not only revolve around them. It is important that I also pour into myself and honor ME as an individual. Sassy Plum is about uplifting the person behind the children. Aside from parenthood, the site highlights individualism, self-purpose and self-care.

As a notorious busy-body, I’m always on the hunt to self-growth and development, edging closer and closer to my purpose. I am very transparent of my journey, which is reflected in my blogs.

I tremendously value knowledge and empowerment through learning and community. As I strut along my path to personal fulfillment, it is my hope to help others find their purpose as well.

I welcome guest blogs to keep content fresh. So you’ll probably hear from some of my friends as they speak about their journey as well. All of our stories are unique and we are in this thing together!

Because I like to talk about different things, I’ve spread my wings to multiple platforms. You can find me on Dear My People, Zora and Medium.

In addition to writing, I also enjoy spending time with girlfriends, eating wonderful food and beautiful fashion! Blend all three and you get a colorful dining experience in fashionably dramatic attire! Follow Dine In Color to see my dining entourage.

Thanks for visiting, I hope you stick around!
